What you need
- Super Million Hair fibers in the shade closest to your hair (shade guide).
- Super Million Hair Hard Hair Mist to set the fibers.
- A hand mirror for the first few times, and a comb.
The 4 steps, one by one
Start with clean, dry, oil-free hair
Shampoo, dry completely and comb. Oil, pomade or damp hair stops the fibers bonding and makes them clump.
Dab fibers on at 45°
Hold the bottle about 45° above the thinning area and tap gently. Build up slowly and check in the mirror.
Pat to blend
Pat softly with your fingertips so the fibers settle into your own hair. Pat, don't rub.
Set with Hard Hair Mist
Spray from about 15 cm. The mist locks the fibers in against wind, sweat and rain.
Why not ordinary hairspray? Firm-hold sprays come out too hard and can blow the fibers out of place, and they are harsh on the scalp with daily use. Hard Hair Mist is made to set the fibers gently.
Technique by area
Crown
Part your hair and work section by section, tapping fibers along each part. Check the back with a hand mirror held against a wall mirror. More crown tips.
Hairline
Use a very light touch at the front edge and pat slightly back from the hairline, so the line stays soft and natural rather than solid. Hairline guide.
Widening parting
Tap a thin line of fibers along the part, then pat. Most women need only a small amount here. Guide for women.
Small patchy areas
Where there is very little hair to hold the fibers, spray a light layer of Hard Hair Mist first, apply fibers, then mist again to set.
How much should you use?
Less than you think. Start with a light layer, pat, and check in daylight before adding more. Fibers need some existing hair to cling to, so they are not suitable for a completely bald area. After a few days most people can apply confidently without a mirror.

Common mistakes
- Applying to wet or oily hair. The fibers clump instead of clinging.
- Using pomade, wax or cream first. Style afterwards with the mist instead.
- Rubbing to blend. Rubbing moves the fibers onto the scalp. Pat instead.
- Skipping the mist. Without it, wind and a helmet can shift the fibers.
- Combing hard afterwards. Shape gently with your fingers.
Through the day
- Rain, wind and sweat: set with Hard Hair Mist, the fibers hold.
- Helmets and caps: fine once the mist has fully dried.
- Sleeping: a little may transfer, so cover your pillow with a towel.
- Removing: one wash with ordinary shampoo, no special remover needed.

How long does it take to apply hair fibers?
Once you have practised a few times, a full application usually takes under a minute. There is no mixing or drying time, and nothing sticks to the scalp.
Do I need to use Hard Hair Mist?
It is recommended. Hard Hair Mist sets the fibers gently so they resist sweat, rain and wind. Ordinary firm-hold hairsprays spray too hard and can blow fibers out of place.
Can I apply fibers to wet or oily hair?
No. Oil, pomade, hair cream or damp hair makes the fibers curl or clump. Apply to clean, fully dry, product-free hair.
How do I remove hair fibers?
Wash with ordinary shampoo. It neutralises the static charge and the fibers rinse out completely.
Can I wear a helmet or cap after applying?
Yes. Set the fibers with Hard Hair Mist and let it dry fully first.
Will fibers come off on my pillow?
A small amount may transfer overnight, so we recommend covering your pillow with a towel.
Can I apply it myself?
