Does it work on your crown?
The crown is where thinning often shows first in men: a swirl that opens up and lets the scalp shine through under overhead light. Super Million Hair fibers are plant-based rayon, cut to 0.3–0.5 mm, and carry a static charge. They cling to your existing hair strands and make each one look thicker, so the gaps close up and the scalp shows less.

The crown technique, step by step
The trick with the crown is seeing what you're doing. Stand with your back to a wall mirror and hold a hand mirror in front of you, or ask someone to take a photo, or use your phone's front camera on a short timer.
Clean, dry, then section
Shampoo and dry fully. Comb the crown into two or three sections so you can see the thin areas along each part.
Dab at 45° along each part
Hold the bottle about 45° above the crown and tap gently along each part. Build in thin layers and check the mirror between layers.
Pat, don't rub
Let the sections fall back and pat lightly with your fingertips. Follow the natural direction of the swirl.
Set with Hard Hair Mist
Spray from about 15 cm. This locks the fibers against wind, sweat and rain, and against a helmet or cap.
Check from above. People mostly see your crown from above: in group photos, on stairs, on video calls from a laptop. Take one photo from above in daylight to check the blend before you leave home.

Crown and hairline together
Many men thin at both the crown and the front. Do the crown first, with the sections and the hand mirror, then the hairline with a much lighter touch. Set everything with one pass of Hard Hair Mist at the end. The front edge needs less product than the crown, because it's seen straight-on in harsh light. Which shade for the crown?
At the crown, the scalp showing through makes hair look lighter than it is. Match your shade to the hair around the thinning area, in daylight, not to the scalp. If you're between two shades, dab a little of each on the crown and check a daylight photo from above: the right one disappears into your hair. Haircuts that help a thinning crown
Length matters. Very long hair on top splits and falls open at the swirl; a shorter, textured cut on top with neater sides hides the crown better and holds fibers well. Crown thinning and your doctor
Fibers are a cosmetic cover. They don't slow or treat thinning. If your crown is thinning quickly, you're losing hair in patches, or you have itching, redness or flaking, see a dermatologist. If you use a hair-loss treatment, apply it first, dry your hair completely with a hairdryer, then apply fibers and mist. Ask your doctor about your specific treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Can hair fibers cover a thinning crown?
Yes, where there is still hair on the crown. The fibers cling to it by static charge and reduce scalp show-through. They won't hold on a completely bald spot, because there is nothing for them to cling to.
How do I apply fibers to the back of my head?
Use a hand mirror with a wall mirror, or your phone camera. Part the hair into sections, dab fibers at about 45° along each part, pat to blend, and set with Hard Hair Mist from about 15 cm.
Will it look natural from above, for example in photos?
The fibers are designed to blend with your own hair in daylight. Build up in thin layers, match your shade to the hair around the crown, and check with a photo from above.
Will it last all day?
